Responsible whale watching

We are passionate about whales, dolphins and the ocean, and believe in responsible and respectful whale watching practices.

Our crew adhere to whale watching industry best-practice guidelines and we have a strong understanding of these animals thanks to our decades of experience running marine tours all year round.

We are committed to ensuring that our time spent with the whales does not negatively impact them and provides you with a positive and meaningful experience. Our boat is purpose-built to ensure maximum viewing capability and your safety at all times.

Simon, Jess and all our crew share a love of the ocean and an immense respect for whales. We consider it a privilege to be able to watch whales and a responsibility to be able to share them with our guests.

20 years of whale watching experience

Go Whale Watching Sydney has been operating whale watching tours in Sydney and the NSW South Coast since 2004. Whale watching is our passion and we love being out on the ocean. Our rich experience on the ocean has given us the ability to find, track and interpret whale behaviour. And we love sharing our knowledge with everyone who comes whale watching with us!

During the southern migration (August to November) we also operate whale watching tours from the spectacular Sapphire Coast in Merimbula, Eden and Bermagui. If you are keen for a weekend away, then a trip down south is well worth the effort.
